Hi Linda

By the amount of replys to my question I guess it's not a popular book.

he has it on the top of his head and also on his leg.
he's had all the usual treatment inc nasel cream, it clears up swabs come back clear them weeks later it breaks out again.

Just going round in circles and looking for alternatives as I guess doctors cant recommend you try herbal stuff but if the internet is to be believed some things seem to work for some people.

It's just trying to find out which claims actually work and which are scams.

Thanks anyway
Colin

Hi Colin,

I agree you should do your own research when it comes to anything as important as MRSA.

Alternative approaches can and do work for many people, however, everyone is different and may need a different approach for best results.

I believe the best way to use alternative antibiotics or medicinal herbal products is to also work with a holistic or alternative minded doctor. Most medical doctors have a strong bias against alternative medicine and/or know nothing about using them.

You are right - many sites claim a simple wonder cure for MRSA. Beware of them. I do not believe in this.

From my experience, any one single alternative treatment can be helpful, but not for everyone, and not by itself. There are often other steps that need to be taken to resolve the cycle of recurring infection.

MRSA Secrets Revealed is not for everyone, especially those looking for a miracle-quick cure. While it does provide proven alternative treatments, it also focuses on other steps to stop recurring infections that can take some time to have success with.

There are no-cost reports available on http://www.staph-infection-resources.com to help evaluate the type of information in MRSA Secrets Revealed.

I wish your son the best,
Michelle Moore

I have been following the protocol in the MRSA book as well as adding a few other
things to my regimen, including liver cleanses from Dr Group and FOOD GRADE
diatomaceous earth in my daily green drink. Here is my question. As the book
recommended, I sought our an infectious disease doctor, who submitted a nice juicy
abssess sample 2 months after I began an aggressive campaign with the staph pack
oils from b.y.e.o. and another colleague's structured water to eliminate acids, along
with a MRSA diet. The test returned positive for staph aureus, but NOT meth.
resistant. I had mild septic symptoms and red ringed volcanic eruptions when I first
began. Now, 3 months later I only have pink mosquito bites under my armpits. Can
the e.o. while improrving cellular receptor sites, actually move MRSA into simple
staph? Or was it only simple staph aureus all along?

My daughter has MRSA. She has had it since she was 16, now 27. After her 5th episode in a year she went to an infectious control doctor and he said that stress is what makes hers come out. She has now had it over 20 times. She is gone to the hospital now with another boil. I'm also looking for alternative treatments, etc., and can't find any reviews on these so-called "cures." I have a feeling most of them are scams. The only "reviews" I do find are on the website offering the book, cure, etc.

Australia - I just bought this book! I sincerely hope this is NOT a scam. I'm desperately trying to educate myself on how to eradicate this horrid disease and I would hope there are not people out there taking advantage.

I'm sooooo paranoid about scams and have a little feeling that because of all the links to buy products etc that this may be something to do with making $$$. But then I thought about it and, I sought out the info, it was not something that was sent to me??? I don't like the upsell and that stuff annoys me when you buy the book and they ask you if you want this and that too.....

I was slightly concerned when I bought the book and sent a question to 'Michelle Moore' and was replied to by someone from 'customer service'. I really hope Michelle Moore is not just a FACE to a business trying to make money out of this. I was interested because she said she had her own infections and understood our pain???

I also wonder how 'Michelle Moore' can be all over each website - I think there are team of people that trawl the web and have alerts to respond to these types of forums as she may be the face of the company.

I thought her videos were genuine and caring and I liked that. I only ordered the book yesterday and will assess it in the mail when I receive it from the US.

I'm going to take it to my ID doctor when I get my appointment and see what they think...

Sorry I can't be of more help...

Hi Sammi,

You have some great questions and understandable concerns. While the internet is a great resource to have when using it to solve a health issue (or any other important issue), people are right to be concerned about scams because there are many out there. I think a substantial amount of information online is either misleading or downright false.

Unfortunately, one common internet marketing strategy is to create a false persona to better appeal to a particular market or health concern. I've been using the internet for our health businesses since 2004, and I see this approach all the time, especially now that more people are starting internet businesses to make money online. Many internet marketing consultants teach this strategy! I feel this approach is out of integrity and not in the best interest of those needing important information.

Many of the people my staff and I talk to on the phone are very leary and concerned about scams. My husband Les and I will be writing a blog post about this very topic: health and wellness internet scams. Our post will include the very legitimate concerns you expressed above.

We joined with the Better Business Bureau last year, as they verify our business and who we are, and members subscribe to honest business practices, truth in advertising and transparency about who we are.

I am a real person, I really am a Microbiologist, and I really did have recurring Staph infections in my sinuses for 4 years. My credentials are on on Facebook and LinkedIn. Supporting our customers, maintaining our business and our website is a full time job for Les and I and my staff. We do our best to provide great customer service, and we are often complimented on it. My staff responds to general support questions, and Les and I respond to more personal and detailed questions.

And you are right. Many internet businesses do have a team of people who post to forums using the false persona identity. We do not. Because our time is spread thin, we do use internet tools to keep tabs in the latest online and forum postings and happenings related to MRSA and Staph, so we do get around a bit. We respond in turn with the best information we have at the time and we hope that it is of value to those searching for answers.

Best thing that got me better and keeps that crap away has been Colloidal (Ionic) Silver! I take a teaspoon a day for maintenance and nebulize it when I feel a cold or allergies coming on. Please research this amazing natural antibiotic that kills nearly every pathogen known to man and is not resistant to them! If you need to correspond, my email is . Please identify yourself by writing MRSA Help in the subject line. I hope you find the same relief that I have!

I have the book, too, and have been implementing many of the recommendations in it including the oils. My 5 year old daughter has also had MRSA that keeps coming back. Since taking the oils she had not had any sores until last week. I saw the start of two, one by her eye and one inside her nose. I applied tea tree oil to the sores and they went away by the next day. She is also taking some oils internally.

I have recurring "pimples" that my ID doctor thought were most likely MRSA as I have tested possitive for MRSA in 3 different outbreaks of boils. Since starting the oils I had not had any boils. I am very upset that just this weekend I have a very sore spot on my upper thigh that is red and inflamed and looks like a major boil starting. I am applying tea tree oil to the spot as well as putting a wet paper towel and heating pad to it a few times a day. Time will tell if it will clear up. If it doesn't in a few days I told my husband I will call the doctor but really want to see if the oils will work.

This disease is stressful. Not only do I fear outbreaks I have to do so much extra cleaning and washing of laundry. I am tired of it but realize it could take some time and more dilligence on my part. I wish my poor little girl wouldn't have got it!

Try Manuka Honey. I was a skeptic but in desperation bought it last saturday for a full blown skin infection. It is cleared up today. I was going to give it a couple days to try it before going to the dr for antiobiotics.
In 2 days, the redness was substantially reduced and a concentrated spot. I put it directly on gauze an onto the boil. I put heat on it as I could throughout the day (usually just 2 or 3 times) and this is the first skin infection I have ever conquered without meds. It may not work for everyone, and certainly don't push the limits to let it get worse, but there is non-antibiotic hope for me now. I am thrilled since I already developed an allergy to Sulfa drugs. I bought it at a Vitamin store----Active Manuka honey, 15+. It is sticky but ultimately it was worth the hassle. I think the heat is important though.

I THINK THIS IS A GREAT BOOK IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW HAS MRSA . I BOUGHT IT A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO WHILE RESEARCHING . MY FIANCE AND I BOTH HAD IT, THERE IS ALOT OF USEFUL INFO IN IT , BUT OVERALL THE ACID LOAD ON THE BODY FROM THE INSIDE IS WHAT KEEPS MRSA COMING BACK OVER AND OVER. I AM A NURSE AND AFTER HAVING THIS FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS WE GOT RID OF IT WITH DIETARY CHANGES AND USING THE PHENOMENAL WATER PRODUCT !! IT ELIMINATES THE EXCESS LACTIC AND URIC ACIDS IN YOUR BODY THAT THE MRSA THRIVE ON PLUS THEY LOVE SUGAR, SO STOP EATING IT IF YOU HAVE MRSA . GOOD LUCK AND TRY THIS PRODUCT , IT WILL WORK , AND MY OPINION IS WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOOSE , CAUSE THIS SH-- ZAPPS YOUR LIFE IF YOU LET IT GO .

Colloidal Silver is crap. My dad made jars of this stuff. I took 200ml
twice a day for a duration of five and it came back 2 days later. I
suffered with a huge abscess on my rear end. I am willing to buy the
MRSA Secrets. I am sure it will have something other, or in addition to
colloidal silver.

I recently bought the MRSA secrets revealed online book. Its basically a collection of what you can find out for free on the web if you're willing to search for it. If however, you want to just get straight to it, then the book is quite useful.

Unfortunatley the MRSA I've had hasn't responded to either manuka honey 15+ or tea tree oil (and i swear by tea tree oil!) used topically.

Matt, I'm just wondering whether the "homemade" silver is actually any good... theres a blue guy on you tube after having been consuming his home made silver.
It kinda freaked me out a little. If I go down that road I'll not be making my own!
I do believe in the silver dressings though. My nurse has used these on previous boils and they've really helped on the healing.

Rhonda... whats the water product you're talking about? I'm about to start a PH diet... see if I can't get rid of this nightmare!

Coriander Seed Oil
Recent news articles are saying that this may be a break through for mrsa.
Does any one have info on this oil and how to best use it?
